Clint Culpepper is currently the Transportation Options Manager at Portland State University, managing the university’s transit, bicycle, and carpool programs. He is a member of the City of Portland’s Bicycle Advisory Committee, the Fixing Our Streets Oversight Committee, and the Multnomah County Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee. He is the promoter of the Portland Trophy Cup cyclocross series. He lives in Northeast Portland with his wife and two young children. He holds a BA in Political Science from Arizona State University.

Brad is a lifelong cyclist. He got his start racing BMX in his hometown of Anchorage, AK. He then moved on to mountain biking, road, CX, and track. Brad’s career as a racer was never that stellar and in the mid-’90’s he started getting more interested in promoting events. Brad became the race director of the Cross Crusade Cyclocross Series in the late ’90s and then the race director of the Cascade Cycling Classic in 2001. Brad is a co-founder of the US Gran Prix of Cyclocross. He is the founder of both the Portland Twilight Criterium and the noncompetitive De Ronde PDX. Brad is now an employee of Breakaway Promotions, which has produced major events like the Mt. Hood Classic, Cascade Classic, Tour of Utah, USAC National Championships, and Oregon Trail Gravel Grinder. Brad served three terms on the OBRA Board of Directors during the 2000s and is currently serving his first term on the board as an At Large member. Brad lives in Bend with his wife Melodie, his son Brett, and dog Murdoc. He enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and camping with his family.

Christy’s first races were bike messenger Alleycats in Baltimore and Atlanta. Baggy clothes, cumbersome cargo, and walkie-talkies crackling with heckles amongst friends and coworkers bravely (or stupidly?) weaving through traffic to various checkpoints is vastly different from the lycra-clad racing she enjoys today. Racing bikes have always been about fun and community for Christy. While she admires and supports the elite racers, she is here for fun and friendly amateur competition amongst folks who come as they are, riding what they’ve got. She ran for a board position with the hopes of building a more diverse OBRA community. She wants to help introduce more Women, more BIPOC, and more Junior Racers to the sport. Please consider joining a member committee if you’d like to help. When not racing bikes, she is leading outdoor adventures and cycling tours, moving colorful shapes around a screen as a graphic designer, petting dogs, and hanging out with her family.

Jeremy Russell has been an integral part of our community for a decade now and is extremely passionate about cycling in all its forms. He started off racing BMX in his teens and came back into the sport after moving back to Portland however pedaling his bike has always been his "happy place". He's raced all the things OBRA has to offer (4X Overall BAR winner) and is looking forward to contributing to the community further as he now has kids and wants to help promote our sport further to the next generation.

Kimberlee Stafford is a partner at Tonkon Torp LLP where her law practice focuses on commercial real estate transactions. She grew up in Boise, Idaho where she was inspired to start riding bikes watching the Ore-Ida Women’s Challenge. She moved to Portland in 1990 to attend Lewis & Clark College and later Lewis & Clark Law School, and by that time Portland had become home. A member of the Grouptrail Cycling Team, Kimberlee is not a serious racer, but loves the community and fun of OBRA cyclocross and gravel events. She has been a long time cycling advocate, most recently serving as the chair of the board of The Street Trust. Kimberlee lives in North Portland with her wife and three orange cats.

Stacy once swore she had no interest in racing bikes, which is probably why she ended up a Cat 2 on the road who used to spend all her vacation time going to bike races across the region. Her bike racing story is a common one: a few friends she rode with also raced, said she should try it, and once she did she was hooked. Tens of thousands of miles and a couple of hundred races later, Stacy looks back on her brief but intense racing career with pride. These days, Stacy enjoys spicy team rides, sharing new routes, and going on two-wheeled adventures as much as possible.
