The dedicated people who serve on our board of directors are vital to the health and governance of our member-driven, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.
Behind the scenes, our volunteer board members bring diverse expertise and collaboration, ensuring that the Oregon Bicycle Racing Association (OBRA) is thriving and serving all people through the sport of bicycle racing.
The OBRA Board of Directors recently welcomed Robin Cummings to an at-large seat on the board. Most recently, Robin led the 2025 OBRA Junior Cyclocross Series, helping junior racers and their families fall in love with competitive cycling. We are so grateful to Robin, and will be celebrating their board appointment in a separate post.

I’ve been racing since 2008, starting with my first cyclocross race at Portland International Raceway (PIR). Since then, I’ve competed in events sanctioned by both USA Cycling and the Oregon Bicycle Racing Association, gaining a broad perspective on the sport and its communities. I’m passionate about giving back and excited to contribute my experience to help OBRA continue to grow and be the best it can be.

I’ve called Oregon home for 20 years and have spent the last decade racing everything from PIR loops to muddy cross fields to sprinting around the velodrome. My 2024 finish at the Oregon Trail Gravel Grinder was a huge milestone for me—it was my first major race as a proud new American. As a member of Team Oregon, I’ve seen the incredible grit it takes to keep our scene alive. But nothing brings it home quite like seeing my toddler son watch a race, then immediately grab his balance bike to “go fast.” I want to make sure Oregon racing is still thriving when he’s ready for the start line. If elected, I’ll focus on transparent leadership, sustainable scheduling and making sure every rider feels welcome. I’d be honored to have your vote.

I am a proud OBRA member since moving to Portland in 2016. I’ve raced almost every event on offer in that time period, with the only exceptions being track and enduro. My love for the sport—and the community it makes possible—has only grown. It’s easy to take collective spaces for granted and overlook the hard work that’s required to build and sustain them. I’ve been fortunate to officiate and lead the Junior CX Series this past fall for OBRA, and I want to make sure that future generations of Oregonians are able to enjoy the sport I adore.
